Andean Route Itinerary: Days 1 to 12 of 23

Day 1 LIMA
Arrival, meeting and transfer to selected hotel. Dinner at the Hotel.

Day 2 LIMA - TRUJILLO
Early breakfast and transfer to the airport, departure to Trujillo, arrival and transfer to the hotel. City tour; then the tour continue to Chan-Chan, the ancient capital of the Moche Kingdom, lunch in Huanchaco, return to the hotel.

Day 3 TRUJILLO - CHICLAYO
Breakfast in the hotel, departure to Chiclayo by public bus, arrival and transfer to the hotel. Guided visit to the city and its most interesting surroundings. Then visit to the Museum Tumbas Reales de Sipan recently ranked among the 10 Top Museums in the World. Return to the hotel.

Day 4 CHICLAYO - LIMA
Breakfast in the hotel, transfer to the airport. Return to Lima, arrival and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5 LIMA - PARACAS
Breakfast in the hotel, 0730A departure to Pisco by Cruz del Sur, arrival and transfer to selected hotel. PM visit to the Paracas National Reserve.

Day 6 PARACAS - ICA - NAZCA
Early breakfast in the hotel, Ballestas Islands tour; afterward the journey will continue to Ica, visit to the Huacachina Lagoon, local museum and Wineries. Continue journey to Nazca. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 7 NAZCA - AREQUIPA
Breakfast in the hotel, 0900A flight over the Nazca Lines, afterwards the journey continue visiting Chauchilla. At 1500 departure to Arequipa by Cruz del Sur Crucero service. Aarrival in Arequipa and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 8 AREQUIPA - JULIACA - PUNO
Breakfast in the hotel, city tour and visit to the Santa Catalina Monastery, Transfer to the airport. Leave to Juliaca, arrival and transfer to your hotel in Puno.

Day 9 PUNO
Breakfast in the hotel. Tour to the Uros indians floating Islands on the Titicaca. Return to Puno for lunch at passengers account. PM tour to the Sillustani "Chullpas" at the shores of the Umayo Lagoon. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 10 PUNO - LA PAZ
Breakfast in the hotel. The catamaran and coach combined service departs early in the morning from Puno passing through Chucuito, Juli and Pomata, small colonial villages on the shores of Lake Titicaca; upon arrival in Copacabana and after a short visit to the Cathedral embark on the catamaran for a cruise to the Island of the Sun; the Cordillera Real is our background. Continue on another two and half hour crossing through the Tiquina straight to Huatajata. Visit the reed boat makers’ museum and proceed by coach to La Paz. Lunch is provided on board. Arrival to the hotel.

Day 11 LA PAZ - POTOSI
Breakfast in the hotel; La Paz city tour and visit to the Moon Valley. Transfer to the airport. Leave to Sucre. Arrival and transfer to Potosi.

Day 12 POTOSI - UYUNI
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day tour to Salares de Uyuni by private transport, includes box lunch. Transfer to the Salt bricks lodge.

Day 13 UYUN - POTOSI
Breakfast in the hotel; the tour over the Salt Desert will continue. At proper time departure to Sucre by private transport. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 14 POTOSI - SUCRE
Breakfast in the hotel; half day city tour visiting La Casa de la Moneda and Santa Teresa, departure to Sucre and arrival to the hotel.

Day 15 SUCRE - LA PAZ
Breakfast in the hotel; tour to the Tarabuco Sunday Market, includes lunch. At proper time transfer to the airport, departure to La Paz, arrival and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 16 LA PAZ - CUSCO

Breakfast in the hotel, transfer to the airport and departure to Cusco, arrival and transfer to the hotel. PM city tour and nearby ruins: Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.

Day 17 CUSCO- MACHU PICCHU
Breakfast in the hotel, transfer to the train station and departure to the Lost City of the Incas: Machu Picchu by tourist class train; arrival and tour visiting the most interesting places such as the Temple of the Three Windows, the Main Temple , the Circular Tower, etc. Buffet lunch in Aguas Calientes, overnight at one of the cozies Inn at Aguas Calientes

Day 18 MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO
Day at leisure in Aguas Calientes, opportunity to stroll up Machu Picchu again; late afternoon return to Cusco. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 19 CUSCO
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas visiting the Pisac Market, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo fortress; on the return way visit to Chincheros. Includes buffet lunch. Return to Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

Day 20 CUSCO - PUERTO MALDONADO
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport, departure to Puerto Maldonado, arrival and welcome; transfer from the Puerto Maldonado airport to the city pier. Arrival in the lodge, situated on the left bank of the Madre de Dios river. Mid-afternoon excursion to Monkey Island where one can observe up to five species of monkeys Night stroll along the riverbank to observe baby caimans (alligators) and other nocturnal animals. When the sky is clear, the stars of the Southern Hemisphere can be contemplated. Typical dinner in the dining room.

Day 21 PUERTO MALDONADO
Buffet-style tropical breakfast, An hour’s walk through the tropical forest. During the 3 km stretch one can appreciate plants, trees, some Batrachia (toads and frogs) and reptiles, a variety of birds and throughout the whole walk, dancing multicolored butterflies. At the end of the path, setting off by rowboat to glide along a canal through the marsh to solitary, magnificent Lake SANDOVAL.The lake offers extraordinary scenery of placid waters surrounded by palm, aguaje and other primary forest trees. Return to the lodge by boat.

Day 22 PUERTO MALDONADO - LIMA
Buffet-style tropical breakfast in the dining room; return to the city of Puerto Maldonado, transfer to the airport. Return to Lima, arrival and transfer to the hotel, day at leisure. PM Farewell dinner.

Day 23 LIMA - INT'L DEPARTURE
Breakfast in the hotel. At proper time transfer to the airport and stand by to connect international flight.
