Day
1 LIMA - JULIACA - SILLUSTANI - PUNO
Arrival, meeting
and transfer; on the way to the Puno, you will
visit the "Chullpas" of Sillustani: stone
cylinder burial chambers used by the Aymaras to
bury their important leaders; located at the shores
of Lake Umayo. The tour continue downwards to
Puno where finally you reach your hotel . Overnight
in selected hotel.

2 PUNO - LAKE TITIKAKA TOUR
Early in the morning, transfer to the dock and embark in one of the motorboats for an unforgettable excursion
on the waters of the Lake Titicaca to the unique "Floating
Islands" of the Uros.
These ancient inhabitants of the lake, known as the Water Tribe, have built their
own "islands" by periodically adding new layers
of a type of reed unique to the area called "totora" (Scirpus
Totora), vegetable fiber from the Papiro family.
Their homes and boats are also made from this material.
Afterwards you continue the motorboat trip to the outlying Amantani Island, where the islander
will give you a warm welcome; the overnight
will be at the islanders home in a cosy and
friendly environment.

3 AMANTANI - TAQUILE - PUNO
After a delicious and
energetic breakfast the sail continues towards
the Taquile
island, inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives
who have developed efficient and unique social
systems, as well as fine hand weaving techniques,
down through generations. We have a walk through
the various hills and archaeological sites of
this 6 km long island. In the afternoon, return
to Puno for overnight at your hotel.

4 PUNO - AREQUIPA OR CUSCO OR BOLIVIA
After breakfast departure tou your next destination.
